Terms of use

1. The service

ScanTap is an online service for creating and displaying digital menus for hospitality venues, which guests open by scanning a QR code or holding their phone to an NFC tag.

2. Account

An account is required to use the admin. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data entered and for keeping login details safe.

3. Menu content

The user is responsible for the content they publish — names, prices, descriptions, allergens and photos — and for its compliance with regulations. We may remove content that breaks the law or infringes third-party rights.

4. Subscription and payment

Plans are paid in advance, yearly, according to the current price list. If a subscription is not renewed, the menu may be temporarily unavailable until payment is made.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation during maintenance, outages or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Cancellation

The user may cancel the service at any time. Amounts paid for the current period are not refunded unless agreed otherwise.

7. Changes

We notify users of changes to these terms by email or a notice in the admin.
