ScanTap Konobar is an Android app for calling the waiter from the table. The guest taps “Call a waiter” in the digital menu and the waiter’s phone rings like an alarm — with the table number and reason — until someone taps “Preuzimam” (I’m on it).
Included in Cappuccino and Chain, an add-on for Espresso. You get the app in the admin once you order a plan. Android 8 or newer. Waiters with an iPhone or a tablet use the web call screen, no install needed.
On screen, even on a locked phone: the table, the zone (hall, terrace, garden) and the reason — ordering, bill in cash or bill by card — plus the guest’s note. The waiter taps “Preuzimam” and the guest sees “Marko is coming” in the menu.
Each waiter picks their zones and starts a shift. Off shift the phone doesn’t ring and doesn’t drain the battery. The owner sees who is on shift in the admin: green dot — connected, red — something is wrong.
The owner clicks “Connect a waiter device” in the admin, and the waiter enters the code from the screen or scans the QR code. No passwords and no separate staff accounts.
On an iPhone, a bar tablet or a computer, calls are followed in the browser with sound and notifications. For a reliable ring on a locked phone we recommend the Android app.
The app isn’t charged separately. “Call a waiter” is included in Cappuccino and Chain, and is an add-on for Espresso.
Not yet — you get it in the admin (Calls → Settings and devices) when your plan includes “Call a waiter”, and it installs in a minute. The app offers new versions by itself, no uninstall needed.
The Android app doesn’t, but waiters with an iPhone use the web call screen in the browser.
As many as you need — each waiter connects their own phone, and a tablet at the bar can follow all calls.
